Dr. Chelvin Sng is an Assistant Professor at the National University Hospital (Singapore) specializing in glaucoma, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. A recipient of the Academic Medicine and Development Award, she completed the prestigious glaucoma fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and is an Honorary Consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Dr. Sng was among the first surgeons in Asia to be accredited in the use of several novel microinvasive glaucoma surgery devices. Awarded the New Investigators Grant from the National Medical Research Council for her work on the “Novel Ocular Biometric Risk Factors in Primary Angle Closure Glaucoma,” she is the co-inventor of a new patented glaucoma drainage device.
