Microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) includes a diverse group of “alternative” glaucoma surgeries that are intended to be safer and induce considerably less tissue disruption than traditional procedures. This MasterClass provides an overview of the various types of MIGS devices, highlighting the important considerations in patient selection and the role of MIGS in the current glaucoma treatment algorithm. Videos illustrate the surgical technique and the management of postoperative complications are discussed.
