Dr. Yoichiro Masuda received M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in Jikei University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan, in 1997 and 2008, respectively. He has been a researcher at department of psychology, Stanford University, USA in 2006-2008. He has studied visual neuroscience using functional MRI, and irrigation dynamic pressure hydrodissection technique during cataract surgery. Since 2012, he has been a lecturer at department of Ophthalmology, Jikei University School of Medicine. He has received several academic awards as first author including the Best of JSCRS 2018, Best presentation Award, JSCEV 2013, Travel Grant Award, ARVO 2011, Chairman Award, Japanese ophthalmological society 2009, 2010.
